| Camping Rules
1. All school rules apply.
2. Leave the campground only with a chaperone. Let the base camp chaperone know
where you are going.
3. Use the buddy system, go nowhere alone.
4. Go swimming only when there is a guard or chaperone who will act as a lifeguard.
Always use the buddy system in the water. Swimming is only permitted in the
designated beach area.
5. Be respectful of chaperones and classmates.
6. Be kind; refrain from making negative comments about people.
7. Keep your play and activities safe. Rough-housing is not permitted.
8. Get permission before entering someone else’s tent (girls only in girl’s tents, boys
only in boy’s tents) or using their belongings.
9. Use the drinking water only for drinking.
10. Always wear a fastened life vest when you are out on a boat. Have your
chaperone help you if you can’t fasten it properly. Never swim from the boat or off the
dock. See rule 4.
11. Pick up after yourself. Throw your trash in the trash cans provided. Avoid littering.
Leave the campground cleaner than you found it.
