When is recess and lunch?

We have three recesses: 9:50-10:05,  lunch from 11:05-12:05, and the 
afternoon recess is at 1:20-1:35.

Can I pick up my student for lunch or come visit them at lunch?

Yes! Your student just has to let us know they are going home for lunch 
when they check in for the morning. You are always welcome to meet them in 
the lunchroom for lunch!

What if my student is going home with someone else?

If your student is being picked up by someone other than yourself please 
send in a signed and dated note with them in the morning.  This will help us 
at lunch and/or dismissal time to get each child where they need to be.

What time does school start?

Your student can arrive no earlier than 8:00.  At 8:05 the bell rings for 
students to line up and then come into the classroom at 8:10.  The students 
are 
marked tardy if they arrive after 8:20 and will have to go to the office for 
a pass to class before coming to the room.

What time is dismissal?

Students are dismissed at 2:50.

How do students buy lunch?

Students will mark what they are doing for lunch in the morning for the 
teacher. Money can be put into a lunch account over the internet, or you can 
put money in their daily folders and the teacher will send it to the 
cafeteria.  At lunch the students get their lunch and tell their PIN number 
to the checkout lady.  If they don't remember their PIN number they can give 
their name.

What time does my student have to be at school?

Students can arrive no earlier than 8:00 and the bell will ring and the 
students may enter the classrooms at 8:10.  The students are considered 
tardy after 8:20 and must go to the office for a pass to class.
