About Mrs. McClain

 I have been teaching for eight years, all in first grade. I enjoy being 
a part of the Barrington Community and teaching.  I am a mother of a 4 year 
old boy, Colin and a 20 month old boy, Mitchell.  They are a joy to me. 
Being a parent myself I understand wanting my child to be happy throughout 
the day. I am excited to have the opportunity to specialize my teaching to 
specific areas and to spend more time with my own children. I will be 
teaching in the AM part of the day which includes Reading and Math.

About Mrs. Spires

My name is Jen Spires and this will be my seventh year teaching first grade 
at Barrington.  I love being a part of the learning and growth that takes 
place during your child's first grade year.  I have a 23 month old daughter 
named Hannah and a 3 week old baby named Ella.  I believe job sharing 
is the perfect opportunity to continue my love of teaching and the enjoyment 
of raising my own children.  I will be teaching writing, word work, and 
theme work in the afternoons!
