Am I expected to volunteer a certain amount of hours?

NO! In fact, there is something for everyone to do even if you have a busy
schedule. We sometimes need help with things that literally take a few
minutes a month.

Why should I be a member of the PTO?

By being involved with the PTO, your child will see that you take their
education seriously and that you are making an investment in them. It is
also a great way to get to know other parents and the BES staff.

What is the current PTO hoping to raise money for this school year?

One of the things on our "wish list" is to purchase a poster maker for the
teachers and students to benefit from. We also continually support the
funding of scholastic news for the Kindergarden and First Grade students,
several guest speakers, field trips, honor roll movie, classroom supplies,
books for classrooms and the library, grade level incentive programs, Bulldog
Club program, Thursday Afterschool Program, and much, much, more!
