Welcome to all music teachers, especially K-8 teachers:-)
Dear Teacher:
It has been a while since I’ve participated on the Music K-8 list serve. I
miss participating with the teachers, but now my schedule and activities are
very different. I now spend my time focusing upon instrumental activities
rather than general music activities and interests. (I am a middle school
band director at two middle schools in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.)
Since I am no longer actively involved with the list serve, I decided to
delete the files I had previously shared with the Music K-8 teachers. (I need
the space on my site for instrumental activities with my band students and
for my newly established Pied Piper Vocal Performing Ensemble.)
If you were sent to this web site via the Music K-8 list serve, please
contact me using the e-mail link at the bottom of the index to the left of
this page. I will be glad to send you the information you are requesting.
Announcement: If you go to Amazon.com you will find a book I wrote. I wrote
it for the pre-school - lower elementary music teachers to use in their
classes. "Where Do Music Notes Belong?" is a story about music notes that
travel through the world in search of their home. The book introduces whole,
dotted half, half, quarter, and eighth notes. Note: Lower elementary science
studies eco-systems; thus, these are some of the places the notes visit in
search of their home. The illustrator did an outstanding job! If you purchase
and use the book, let me know how your students respond. So far I've heard
great responces from those who have already purchased and shared the news
with me:-) Of course, I'd love for you to share the news about the book on
the Music K-9 list if you so desire:-)
Respectfully, Mrs. Pamela Rezach
