Hello and welcome. This is my third year of teaching here at BBHHS and my
fifth year overall. I teach one section of Academic Biology, one section
of General Biology as well as two sections of Academic Environmental
Science. I am the girls JV tennis coach as well as the Boys Varsity tennis
coach. I encourage you to contact me with any questions you may have
throughout the year concerning your son or daughter.

I have been working with children since 1993 as a sophomore at Solon High
School, where I worked as a Camp Director during summer break. I continued
to work with children at the same capacity during my summers while attending
college. My undergraduate degree is in Biology with a concentration on
Chemistry and Microbiology from John Carroll University in Cleveland Ohio.
I graduated in 1999 with a BS in Biology, and participated in sports such as
Tennis. After graduation, I began working at as a chemist at a laboratory
in Cleveland. After a year of work, I decided to advance my career through
a position working as a Microbiologist for a pharmaceutical company for two
years, then further as a supervisor of a microbiology department for a major
personal health company. After experiencing several different positions in
the field of Biology without receiving personal satisfaction, I decided to
return to working with children in a different aspect. In 2003 I was
accepted into the MSAT program at The Ohio State University, which gave me
both my masters degree in Education, as well as my certification for grades
7-12. Upon graduation, I accepted a position at McIntosh Middle School, and
relocated from Ohio to Sarasota, Florida. After two years in Sarasota, I
accepted the position at BBHHS and currently reside in Parma.
