How is the program set up?

Individual students receive a 30 minute lesson each school day with a
specially trained Reading Recovery teacher. These lessons last between 12
to 20 weeks depending on each student's needs. As soon as a student can
read within the average of his/her class and demonstrate that s/he can
continue to achieve, lessons are discontinued and new students begin
individual instruction.
