| Welcome back to school! 2008-09 - It seems like just yesterday we were
worried about Y2K, and now here we are years past that.
New students to the school, including kindergarten, are to have medical
forms, especially complete immunization forms, on file after 2 weeks from
the first day of school. Please contact me if there is a problem with this.
Preschool students need an up-to-date physical every year. Other students
are not required to submit a yearly physical exam after the initial one for
entrance to school, but check-ups are recommended. If your child has an
exam , we will gladly update the health records at school, so please send
the forms to me.
Remember that all medications to be taken at school must be in the original
container AND be accompanied with a medication form. We do not supply
medicines at school. If your child has fequent headaches, asthma, food
allergies, or other chronic illnesses that require meds, please have them
WITH THE COMPLETED FORM at the start of school. Thanks.
Remember to get all emergency forms to school ASAP. We really rely on that
information for the safety and well-being of your child. Also, remember to
update us throughout the year if you change addresses, phone numbers, e-mail
addresses, etc., so that we always have a contact in case of an emergency.
Let's get the year off to a healthy start. One of my favorite sayings
is "Kids need to be healthy to learn, and need to learn to be healthy."
