I am so excited to be able to teach at Chapel Hill Christian School, and
share with other families what we have experienced in our own family. I am
a mother of three grown sons, who all graduated from Chapel Hill Christian
School. After graduating from college with a Biology degree, I
worked as a Medical Technologist. In 1989 I returned to college to answer
the Lord's calling to become a teacher. I am now certified K-12,
specializing in Science, Reading, Gifted and Early Childhood. I am currently
working on my Master's degree from Kent State. I have taught at both
campuses, at various grades levels. I have been teaching Kindergarten for
several years now. Although I have enjoyed teaching all age groups, I love
to watch kindergarten student's excitement and thirst for learning. I am
always amazed with how much they learn in only one school year!
Mrs. Puckett, the Kindergarten aide, has been a wonderful complement to our
kindergarten family. She has a servant's heart and loves the children.
Her daughter also graduated from Chapel Hill Christian School.
My prayer for my students and their families, is that they will always be
able to know that we love their child, as we help them to grow, mature and
stretch, academically, emotionally and spiritually. I also pray that
learning will always be fun and exciting for them, as I try to meet the
needs and the various learning styles of all the students in the class.
