November has arrived.  I hope your family has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
"Give thanks to the Lord for He is good.  His faithful love continues forever."
(Psalm 136:1)  The whole Psalm 136 is a wonderful one for Thanksgiving.

Keep practicing your math facts!!  Rocket Math (Mastering Math Facts) is in 
full swing in grades 2nd - 5th.  It is great to have students already completing
operations and moving ahead.  Keep up the good work!  First graders will start
on Rocket Math the second semester of the school year.

BOWL-A-THON

The bowl-a-thon is scheduled for Saturday, January 23, 2010.  Think
about participating in this fun fundraiser this year.

COMPUTER, PRINTER, AND SOFTWARE DONATIONS

We are always looking for donations of computers and/or printers that 
you may be replacing.  We are interested in PC computers that are 
PentiumIII or higher, Apple PowerMac computers, and inkjet or laser 
printers in good working order.

Maybe you have some educational software like Reader Rabbit or a 
JumpStart program that your child has "outgrown."  Think about 
donating it to CHCS! 
 
Contact me (330-928-6089) to make sure it is something we can use.

You do receive a "giving receipt" from the school for any donations that 
you may use for a tax deduction on your income tax form.
