About The Teacher
The 2010-11 school year marks 17 for Mr. Watkins; 16 in Grandview. Mr. Watkins holds a BME from The Ohio State University (1994) Mr. Watkins holds an MA from The Ohio State University (2003) Mr. Watkins is pursuing his PhD from The Ohio State University (2008-) Mr. Watkins is an endorsing artist for Conn-Selmer (Conn 52J Concert Tuba) Mr. Watkins is currently writing his dissertation on Beginning Band Method Books and their adherence to the National Standards for Music Education.

Mission
All students will have the opportunity to read and perform a variety of challenging and interesting music. Students will progress from the beginning to the end of the school year at a pre-determined, individualized pace.
