Welcome to Third Grade! I am Lori Fender and I am so excited to be your
child’s teacher this year. This is my ninth year teaching and my sixth year
teaching third grade. I absolutely love third grade!!! I am a graduate of
Mount Vernon Nazarene University and have just finished my Master’s degree in
curriculum, instruction, and assessment from Mount Vernon Nazarene
University. I am originally from Sugarcreek, Ohio but have been living in the
Newark area for the past ten years. My family consists of my husband Court
and three children, Bryce (12), Blake (10), and Brooklynn (7). I also have a
Yorkie named Bailey, who is spoiled rotten! I am thrilled to be at Granville
Elementary and am looking forward to working with students and their
families.
My goal is to celebrate all individuals, to provide a safe, loving learning
environment where every child can reach their full potential and bring about
positive change in our world.
