<H2 class=Header><FONT size=4 face="Kristen ITC">     Welcome to our class website! Our school, Johnnycake Corners Elementary, is located in Galena, Ohio, just north of Columbus. Our school was named after a one room schoolhouse that used to stand very close to where our building does now. The children all brought johnnycakes in their school pails for lunch, and, as a result, the school took on the name "Johnnycake Elementary." We are very proud of our rich history! JCES is part of a very large school district, Olentangy Local Schools, which covers 110 square miles. Our school is a wonderful place to be. The students, parents, teachers, and staff all work very hard to make JCES the best learning environment possible. Please take a moment to learn a bit about our fifth grade class.</FONT>  </H2></DIV></DIV>
