About The Teacher

Mrs. Kerns has been teaching at Ledgeview Elementary since 2004. She grew up 
in Cleveland Heights and graduated from Kent State University.  After 
graduation, she taught fourth grade for one year in Warren, Ohio, then moved 
to Bryan, Ohio (where Dum Dum suckers are made!)
and taught fifth grade for five years.  Luckily, she had the chance to move 
back to the northeast Ohio with her family and found her new home here at 
Ledgeview.  She has a husband and two grown children, a cat, and a Weimeraner 
named Grady.
She is very proud to be part of the Nordonia Schools team and wants to see 
all of her students become the very best people that they can.
