About The Teacher

I attended Little Hocking Elementary and Warren High School.  I got my 
undergraduate degree in Art Education and then later retrained to become an 
elementary teacher.  I received my Masters Degree from Ohio University  and I 
am still taking classes whenever I can.  I live in Little Hocking with my 
husband Tom and my three children.

Mission For The Class

I feel that fifth and sixth grades are a transition year for students to 
begin preparing them for Junior High and High School.  I emphasize writing in 
all subjects and currently teach Reading, Language Arts, Computer and Social 
Studies.  I expect students to come to class prepared and ready to learn.  I 
feel that education is a process that occurs both at school and at home and 
expect each individual to progress both academically and socially.
