General Homework Information

Encourage your son or daughter to bring home papers on a daily basis, and
please check his or her planner nightly. By monitoring this closely you can
see what your child has accomplished and what is still left to complete
at home. Most homework will consist of work not finished in class, studying
for a test, and special projects. If your son or daughter isn't writing in
his or her planner he or she may have difficulty getting assignments done.

Also, I do take a grade on homework. Sometimes your child will receive a
check, which means he or she will get full credit for completing a
particular assignment. Other times I will give the assignmnet a letter
grade and percent. If a student does not turn in their assignment he or she
will receive a zero. A zero will have a very negative effect on a student's
final grade.

Remember spelling tests are every Thursday. If your child does not recieve
an A on the spelling test he or she is to write the following week's words
five times each. The five times each is also due on Thursday.
