Getting to Know Miss Shell

My name is Alyssa Shell, and I am very excited to be working with all of the
wonderful teachers and families of Lohr Elementary this year. I graduated
from Malone University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood
Education. I have been working in the Perry District since January of 2008
as a substitute. Last year I was at Lohr every Thursday and Friday working
with small groups of students as an Academic Tutor emphasizing reading and
math intervention. This year I will be at Lohr five days a week as the
Literacy Intervention teacher and look forward to spending all my time in
this amazing building!

I am 23 and enjoy spending most of my free time playing with my two nieces (2
and 3 years old). I have three older siblings (one living in WA, one living
in Africa, and one living two blocks away from me). I enjoy playing with my
black lab named Sadie Rose. I am a huge sports fan and LOVE going to
Indians, Cavs, Browns, and OSU games! GO BUCKS! When I'm not cheering on my
Ohio teams, I love traveling and spending time with family and friends.
