CONGRATULATIONS UHS MARCHING BAND
Qualified for State Marching Band Finals at the Watkins Memorial Contest.

UHS Band Week   Oct 6-10

Monday – Color Guard – 4:30 – 6:30
Tuesday – Full Band 2:45 – 4:00
Wednesday – Percussion 2:45 – 4:00
                       Trumpet sectional – 2:45 – 3:45
Thursday – Full Band 2:45 – 4:00
                   Color Guard 5:30 – 7:00
Friday – Home football game – New Show!

•	We will be having a poster contest in preparation for State Finals.

Start bringing in your posters this week!  Deadline will be by State Finals 
week.

•District 10 auditions must be this week.  Schedule a time for us to 
practice and record.
•3rd Florida payment is due at the end of this week

o	October 22 – Senior Dinner
o	October 23 – Marching Band Concert – 7:00pm

Congratulations to the marching band for their performance at Pickerington 
Central Band competition.  The following awards were awarded to our band:
5th place band in class B - Excellent rating
Overall "Esprit De Corps" Award - Trophy
1st place Field Commanders in class B - tie with South Point - trophy

UHS Band
 
     The Band car washes were a hugh success. Thanks to everyone who helped 
out. Our total collected was $1,214.29  




2008 Marching Band will be performing in Florida's Magic Kingdom on Sunday 
December 28th.  The band will march in the "Mickey's Once Upon A 
Christmastime" parade estimated at 3:30pm.  The trip will be planed from 
December 26 and returning on December 31st.   More information to follow.
