When are PTA meetings?

Meetings will generally be the third Wednesday of each month in
the school
library. We rotate between a 3:30 meeting time and a 7PM meeting
time to
accommodate those individuals who work but would like to be
involved.

How much does it cost to join PTA?

The fee is $5.00 per member per year. This fee includes $3.50 to
the Ohio
and National PTA. Mom and Dad can each join! Grandparents, Aunts
and Uncles
can join! By joining PTA you are not obligated to attend meetings
or
volunteer, however, your time and talents will help make this a
successful
year for the students and teachers at Northfield Elementary.

What is the Blue Folder system?

It is the PTA communication vehicle at Northfield. Each child is
assigned a
blue envelope to be used throughout the entire school year. the
blue
envelope will be sent home with every child on Thursdays or
Fridays. Empty
all of the contents and return the envelope to school by Monday,
including
any responses to flyers sent home. Money for various PTA events
and
activities can be sent in this envelope If you have more than one
child at
Northfield, many papers will be sent home in the blue envelope of
the
youngest student in the family only. If you have questions about
the blue
folder system, please contact Amy Eterovich at
geoamy@roadrunner.com.
