August Prayers

THE OUR FATHER
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
 and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
	Amen.

PRAYER BEFORE MEALS
Bless us Oh Lord,
and these thy gifts,
which we are about to receive,
from thy bounty,
through Christ, Our Lord.
	Amen

Glory be to the Father,

world without end.

MORNING PRAYER
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I will begin this day.
I thank you, Lord, for having preserved me during the night.
I will do my best to make all I do today
pleasing to You and in accordance with Your will.
My dear mother Mary, watch over me this day.
My Guardian Angel, take care of me.
St. Joseph and all you saints of God, pray for me.
	Amen

PRAYER AFTER MEALS
We give thee thanks,
Almighty God,
for these and all thy benefits,
who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen

October Prayers

HAIL MARY
Hail Mary full of Grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death
	Amen.

APOSTLE'S CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and
earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord.
He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was
buried.
He descended into hell.
The third day He rose again.
He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the
Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
	Amen

November Prayers

PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
       Amen

May Prayer

Hail, Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy! Our life, our sweetness and
our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we
send up our
sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then,
most
gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this
our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus; O clement, O
loving, O
Sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of God.
Amen
