On the Spelling test students are writing dictation sentences. They are told
how many words are in the sentence so they can go back & check if they have
the correct number of words. Students are graded on whether the sentence is
written correctly, capitalization and punctuation.
We are working on recognizing if the letter is "tall", "short" or "long" and
where a letter begins & ends when we are writing words on our handwriting
paper. This is especially important since they will be writing their
Spelling words for their test.
