About The Teacher

A little history;
I went to Ursuline Academy and then to Edgecliff College where I received a
BA in Art. I began my teaching at Nativity in Pleasant Ridge, Grade 4.
After staying home with my children, I started my career at OLL by
volunteering as an Art teacher. This turned into a lucrative "job" teaching
5-8 Art,part time, while my children were young. As the last was in
Kindergarten, I went to Xavier to receive my certification in Education.
The following 13 years were spent in Grade 2, Room 6. In 2004 I came to
the "big building" and found a home in Room 107.
The 2005-2006 school year began another exciting adventure. This one
was Social Studies for grades 7 and 8. What a chance to see the students
reach their full potential!
The 2007-2008 year had more challenges. I added Art Gr. 1,2,3,
English Gr.6, Language Arts Grt.7, and continued with Social Studies Gr. 8.
In my spare time I moderate the T.I.G.E.R. Pride Council.
2008-2009 brought about yet another change. Art for grades 4,5,& 6,
Expression grade7, and Social Studies for greades 7&8 along with Council.
      2009-2010 I have an 8th grade homeroom and teach 8th grade Religion,8th
grade Art,7 & 8th grade Social Studies, and continue to moderate T.I.G.E.R.
Pride Council.
