Week of November 2, 2009
First grade did not have computers this week. They graciously gave up their class time so that sixth grade could participate in a live webcast for the book series, The 39 Clues.

Second grade will take Accelerated Reader tests..Then they will begin to make a fact family house in Publisher. The studets will learn how to use the drawing toolbar to make a rectangle and triangle. These shapes will be put together to make a house. The three numbers that make up the fact family will be placed on a text box in the triangle. The fact family will be written on a text box in the rectangle shape. The students ill finish this next week and then print out the houses.
Mrs. Laker's third grade finished gathering facts and making a Works Cited page for their animal report. They also reviewed math facts on the math mayhem website.
Mrs. Diehl's class is will continue to work on their acrostic poems in Microsoft Publisher.
