WEEK OF NOVEMBER 9
Dear Parents,
Last week we received information that Cole McGinnis won the essay contest sponsored by the Catholics United for the Poor Organization. He wrote on the topic "Who is a Living Saint in your life and Why?" We are so very proud of Cole who wrote a beautiful essay about his grandfather Angelo. Three cheers for Cole!!!!!!!!!
Our COSI experience was outstanding. It literally "blew" us away with weather information. Thanks to the P.T.O. and all the parents who helped make this wonderful day possible.
We celebrated Ms.Ellmaker's birthday a little early and with style and flair. Each classroom made a lovely card signed by each child. They were delivered with great love, a big hug, and a bouquet of balloons. We wish our dear principal a happy birthday on her real birthday Sunday, November 8.
We are gearing up for our big Taste of America on Thursday, November 12. For extra credit the children are bringing in a food from the country of their ancestors. It is amazing how many countries are represented. We are looking forward to a great feast on Thursday.
Don't forget the Book Fair beginning on Sunday, November 15 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. There are some wonderful books for sale at great prices.
That's all for now. Have a great week.
Mrs. Riva
