Dear Parents,
There is one word for our classroom - HOT. However, the children are adapting well. I am amazed at how focused they still are.
PLEASE SEND IN THE DIRECTORY INFORMATION ON TUESDAY. This form is on a white paper. It is ESSENTIAL that it be sent in on Tuesday. There are still 5 people in my room who have not turned it in to Sister Greta.
Watch for our 7th graders on Channel 5 this evening. Some wonderful war veterans were honored at our school today. The 7th graders wrote letters thanking them for what they did for our country. The veterans were so touched by the letters that they wanted to meet the children. Channel 5 came to interview some of the veterans and the students. Then they all enjoyed a pizza party together. Pretty neat!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
Don't forget that the last two days of school are early dismissal days. That means that the children will be dismissed EARLIER than usual - at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, and on Thursday, May 31. The closing school liturgy will take place on May 31 at 8:30 a.m. Please join us if you are able.
