Thank you to everyone who came in to conferences this week. It was nice to be able to meet many of you, and renew the acquaintance of others. As I mentioned in several conferences, the fourth graders this year are wonderful to teach, and the support from home is a big part of that.

Just a reminder that our all-school Mass of Thanksgiving will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday. With all of the preparations and family get-togethers on Thursday, it is often hard to go to mass on Thanksgiving Day, so our mass on Monday is a wonderful opportunity to join in giving thanks for all we have received. It is also a chance to see the food that was collected by the children during our food drive. The generosity of our students and families this year is inspiring.

Since we are in school only two days this week, there will be no spelling test or math timed tests. These will resume the following week.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving break. I know the children seem ready for a break, and I look forward to everyone being refreshed when they return.
