SpellingThe weekly spelling routine will consist of the first two pages of exercises completed on looseleaf-due on Tuesday. Written work must be in cursive and pen.
Test day will be Wednesday covering all 30 words plus 3 bonus words from the theme vocabulary at the end of the unit. Weekly tests will alternate between dictated words or "bubble test" format. Achieving 103% on the test earns a candy treat! Occasionally this routine will need to be altered when weeks are short or our schedule is interrupted for special activities. This will be noted in the planner.
It is recommended that spelling be completed over the weekend (or before) rather than waiting until Monday night when there will be other homework.
