From now until November 20 we are collecting non-perishables and
toiletries for our Thanksgiving donation. Grades 4-8 collections will go to
Saint Vincent dePaul Food Pantry in the West End. It might make it more
meaningful if your child donates some service to earn the food donation.
Please also send in a brown grocery bag or two if you can. Thank you for your
generosity!
Coats, new or gently used, are also being collected for Saint Vincent
dePaul. They may be brought to school or to the ushers' room in church
through November 29.
Our annual Book Fair begins Sunday, November 15 and continues through
the week. Each student will visit twice in order to browse and make
purchases. Thank you for your support.
Conferences will be held Tuesday and Thursday, November 17 and 19 from
3:00 to 7:00.
Grades 5 and 6 will be hosting practicum art teachers from Mount Saint
Joseph College for the next four weeks. We look forward to them sharing
their art expertise with us!
We are collecting egg cartons for paint cups in art.
Please check that your student's name is on ALL of his/her belongings.
Also, I strongly encourage you to identify all items of clothing with
initials on the tags. It's amazing how many UCI's (Unidentified Clothing
Items) land in our closet!
Blue Tiger Pride spirit shirts may be worn with jeans on the first
Tuesday of every month. Next date: December 1.
