1. Short 20 minute classes. Introductions. Assigned Seats.
2. HW: Students are to ponder this question: Why was the North
fighting the Civil War? They should write 4-5 sentences based
on their memory from last year, survey of family members, or
some internet research. They should spend no more than 15-20
minutes on this whole process. (This big question sets the stage
for our 1st Unit.)
