The object of this Employment Search Web Quest is to locate and prepare to interview for a job for which: *you have the appropriate level of educational requirements *you have the necessary prerequisite skills *is available in an area you'd like to live *has opportunities for promotion *pays well *and is something you might be willing to do for the remainder of you life. As previously mentioned, this is a multi-step process. All steps are critical in ensuring a successful match of your personal requirements, and the requirements of the employer and the job. The steps required to ultimately achieve this objective include: * The Job Search * The Resume and Cover Letter * The Job Application * The Interview and Follow Up Within each step, you will conduct research, compile data, organize and present your findings with group members, and create error free documents which are appropriate for gaining meaningful employment. When asked, you will print out documents to be neatly stored in a folder and/or store documents onto a recordable compact disc (CD-R). Both of these items must be clearly labeled with your name and "Employment Search".
