-2nd Quarter Report Cards: Report cards for 2nd quarter are now available to be viewed on Progress Book. Please be sure to check out how your student is performing in class! Click here to access Progress Book!
-Copy Helpers: Thanks to all who have signed up to be copy helpers! We greatly appreciate the help! For those who may still want to sign up to volunteer,

We are trying to get one helper a week!- 3rd Quarter Newsletter: We will be sending home a 3rd quarter newsletter. This newsletter is filled with announcements. Please return the slip at the bottom of the letter to your child's homeroom teacher as soon as possible!
-Reading Street Online: As a reminder, the students have access to their Reading Street textbooks and other materials such as vocabulary review games, skill videos, and leveled readers(mini books), online! I will be sending home their user names and passwords as a reminder soon. This is an awesome tool for the students! Be sure to check it out!

Upcoming Dates to Remember:
-Book Orders-ONLINE!: New Scholastic Book order forms have been sent home! Book orders for this month are due by January 27th. Please consider ordering online at: http://clubs.scholastic.com/
Our class activation code is HDNDD.
For each order completed online, our classroom will earn a free book! - Chapter Book Club: Our fourth book club is underway! The students are reading The Report Card by Andrew Clements. This book club will be completely ONLINE! We are going to be holding forums on the Language Arts Chalkboard. Your student can get to these forums and activities at www.ohlsd.org. Click on the Moodle Icon (the attached link here will take you straight to the sign in page). The students will then type in their user ID number (their lunch room number) and their Google passwords. Students have until January 27th to sign up! I still have plenty of books available.-iPad Update: If anyone has a used iPad cover that they are not using anymore, we are gladly accepting donations to help protect our devices. We also will be getting a couple keyboards/docking stations for the students to try typing with the iPads soon! They are LOVING having them in the classroom. As always, I am researching for Aps for the Ipads in our classroom. If you have any Aps that you have used with your students that you think would be helpful to all students in the 4th grade please feel free to email me or write a note! I am always open to suggestions and am grateful for those received already!
