2.  Individual applications are also accepted from those individuals not having a child in the program but who are interested in coaching.

3.  Each of these individuals will be expected to complete the coaching questionaire outlining their experience with coaching as well as their reasons for coaching at St. Albert's.

4.  The Athletic Board will review all candidates for coaching and make a final decision on which individuals are best suited to coach.

5.  The decision made by the Board is final and can only be changed with a majority of the Boards' approval.

6.  Coaches will be disqualified from coaching if they have not completed the required training programs outlined by CYO and/or St. Alberts Athletic Board.  These training programs are:

 

         a. Virtus Training

         b.  CYO Coaches Training Class

         c.  Fingerprinted at the Rectory

 

7.  Selection of Assistant Coaches is left completely to the Head Coach.

8.  It is recommended that the Head Coach utilize parental assistants whenever possible.

9.  'B' Team coaches will be finalized after the 'A' Team selection process is completed.

10.  No multi-year coaching agreements will be made.  Coaching a team one year does not guarantee that position in subsequent years.  Coaching decisions will be made prior to the season and by the current Athletic Board.
