I have an Associates Degree from Cincinnati Technical College (Cincinnati
State) and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Xavier University. I have
spent more than 20 years in the software industry, both from a programming
and sales side.
I'm very excited to be in my seventh year as Technology Coordinator at St.
Al's. This year we have added 2 Elmo document cameras for use in the junior
high science room and one that will be portable for the rest of the classes.
We also will be experimenting with webcams and podcasts for instructional
use. We have added a SmartBoard to the Kindergarten room. These tablets
allow the
teacher to interact with students much like an interactive
whiteboard/Smartboard. Each classroom will also be equipped with a projector
for use with a tablet, Smart Board and or laptop.
My mission is to use the Computer Lab as a mechanism to integrate technology
into our current curriculum. Provide the students with the instruction and
the encouragement they need to be confident with the products they will use
in everyday life. It is also my hope that student will teach parents to be
comfortable with their use of technology.
