We have a few new pieces of technology equipment this year. We have 2 document cameras called "Elmos". The document cameras allow the display of 3- D objects via a projector. One will be stationed in teh science lab. The other will be shared among the other teachers and classrooms. I'm looking forward to using the Elmo in the computer lab to illustrate how to use a digital camera and camcorder. A few of the teachers attended a podcasting class. We have 4 webcams for use for podcasting projects. This should make for an interesting year. Teachers are making great use of our laptop cart with 28 laptops for use in the classroom. We will continue to add to our selection of Accelerated Reader tests and associated books available in the library.
