I can hardly believe this is my 21st year at St. Al's. I am very happy to
be back in the second grade this year. I am a long time St. Al's
parishioner and you may see me singing with the guitar group at the 12:00
mass each Sunday. I am married and have 5 children. My daughter is a
second grade teacher in the Oak Hills district. My youngest is a junior
at Elder and plays drums in the the marching band. I also have 3 stepsons
in their 20's and one beautiful grandson who is 18 months old!! Not to
mention our dog, Sandy, and the kitty! What I love most about teaching
second grade is being able to prepare the children for their first
Reconciliation and First Communion. It is so exciting to be helping them to
prepare for these big events in their lives!
My mission for the class is to support and help each child to grow and
progress academically, spiritually, and emotionally in the second grade.
Our class is Christ centered and is an environment that promotes kindness
and a positive attitude.
