Can you imagine drinking something made of grape juice, vinegar, mustard, mayonnaise, lemon juice, pepper & salt, ketchup, olive oil, and onion? Well the young man in Freckle Juice is doing just that! He’s jealous of the freckles his friend has so he bought a recipe for freckle juice from a little girl in his class. Ask your child what happens to Andrew Marcus when he drinks this Freckle Juice!
Our Halloween party will begin at 1:00. Our Room Mothers will help us get dressed in costumes if help is needed. We will then have our parade at 1:30. You can stand along the street or in the parking lot and watch us parade to Hillebrand. We will conclude the day with the party and send them home with a sugar high!!! Sorry!! Reminder: Bring your costumes in a bag, no weapons may be brought to school, and masks will not be pulled down over faces. This is for their safety.
I will send home the Math tests on Monday along with the Spelling tests. Overall they were pretty good. We will be using these rounding skills to estimate sums and differences next week.
In health we started to look at the systems in our bodies. As of today we have only talked about the skeletal system. We will look at the digestive system in more detail than any of the others.
