My oh my are there some naughty children in Willy Wonka! The only children remaining are Mike Teavee and Charlie Bucket.
A BIG Thank you to Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Long, Mrs. Waters, Mrs. Weightman, Mrs. Pangallo and Olivia Pangallo for helping me construct the Gingerbread Houses Wednesday evening. I truly appreciate your help. I HUGE Thank you to all of the moms & dads who helped us decorate the Gingerbread Houses today! We had such a great time with you here; it’s fun to share these special moments with you! I hope everyone’s houses made it home in one piece (although I’m sure with a few pieces of candy eaten off of it). I’m hoping to have all of the pictures up on my website shortly!
We are just about finished with our matter unit. We will have a test on Friday. This covers Chapter 11 in our book. They also have much information in their notebooks.
Multiplication has begun!!
Everyone is seems excited and nervous about starting this new concept! Right now I am trying to teach them the connection of addition to multiplication. Your child will soon be having to bring their multiplication flashcards back and forth to school and home every day. Everyone has their multiplication flashcards, however a few do not go up to 12x12.
Remember that the donations (money or gifts) for Bradley our Adopt-a-Family member) need to be turned in by next Friday, December 18th. I will shop over the weekend with any money that I receive. The gifts will be delivered on Monday, December 21st. Thank you for few gifts we have already received.
