GUIDELINES FOR WORKSHEETS AND/OR WRITTEN ASSIGNMENTS
 
Since the beginning of the school year, I have repeatedly asked that 
submitted work follow some simple guidelines. Regrettably, my verbal 
requests have fallen upon deaf ears and therefore I have decided to write 
these requirements down to avoid any further confusion. 

„«	Format for assignments turned in on pre-printed worksheets. If these 
guidelines are not followed, there will be a 10% reduction of the grade for 
each guideline not followed.
1.	Your name must be printed on each worksheet, if there is a space 
provided use it, if not print your name in the upper right hand corner.
2.	Date, if there is a space provided use it, if not place the date 
that the paper was turned in under your name in the upper right hand corner 
of the paper.
3.	All non-math work submitted for grading must be in black or blue 
pen. All math work must be written in pencil.  
4.	The work must be legible! If I cannot decipher the work, I can only 
assume that is incorrect.
5.	Follow the instructions printed on the worksheet.

paper. If these guidelines are not followed, there will be a 10% reduction 
of the grade for each guideline not followed.
1.	Your name must be printed on each page in the upper right hand 
corner.
2.	The date that the work was turned in must also be printed in the 
upper right hand corner immediately underneath your name.
3.	The page number of the assignment must also be printed in the upper 
right hand corner below the date. If the assignment does not have a 
corresponding page number, a brief description of the assignment will be 
printed there.
4.	All non-math work submitted for grading must be in black or blue 
pen. All math work must be written in pencil. 
5.	The work must be legible! If you cannot write neatly, print or use a 
typewriter or a computer. 
6.	The edges of the paper must be clear and clean. If the paper is torn 
out of a notebook, the edge must be neatly trimmed and have a flush edge.
7.	The work must begin on the side where the pre-punched holes are on 
the left.
8.	If specific instructions are given with any assigned work, those 
guidelines must be followed.
9.	Typed papers will contain only typed characters, unless otherwise 
specified in the instructions.

„«	Format for stapling papers together.
1.	The papers must be aligned to the left edge.
2.	The staple must be within 1 inch of the upper left hand corner.
3.	Only one (1) staple shall be used.
