Each child will be given an assignment notebook this year. Homework assignments and/or notes will be written in this notebook. Parents should review the notebook each night, sign it and return it the following day. 1st Graders will have a reading assignment for homework Monday-Thursday. In addition to reading, they will receive either a phonics, math or handwriting assignment. Homework is expected to be returned to school the following day. Please assist your child with his/her homework by checking to see that it is complete and that it has been placed in his/her backpacks.
