Dear Parent/Guardian,                                   

I hope that all of you are enjoying the weather that we are having so far this month. As we wind down to the end of the year, we will be doing some more activities and reviewing curiculum that we have learned throughout the year.

Reading : We will be finishing My Side of the Mountain and discussing the setting, the characters, as well as doing workshets, projects, and other activities. We then will be watching the video, and reading some short stories.

Vocabulary: We will be moving on and doing Units 13-16, going over the words, meanings, synonyms, and antonyms. We will also be doing unscramble the word, games, fill in the sentence and flashcards for vocabulary and spelling.

English: We will be doing some more writing and reviewing punctuation and grammar.

Social Studies: We will be discussing Africa. We will be doing projects, activities, and worksheets to go along with this. The students are also doing a Power Point in computer class on an African country and we will be having some food samples from different African countries.

Religion : We will be discussing Mary, Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick and Holy Orders..

Other: The students will be having Marian Devotion, the Spring Play and other activities as we wind down the school year.
