May 24- All School Read Around- - 10:30-11:30 (reading) then
11:30-12:30 (lunch). Parents are invited! After listening to the work of the
children in your group, families share a pizza lunch outside, or inside if it
rains. (Please let me know if your child has misplaced their packet of info. This
page contained your room assignment for your family.)

you -Thanks so much to all of the parents who were able to help
us with Field Day today. We had a great time!
No
Spelling Test - Since we have a lot of special events this week (Field
Day, Author visit, Read Around) , and a shortened week next week, we will be
finished with spelling tests for the year. The students will bring their
spelling books home this week. These are
a great review tool over the summer, or your child may like to use it to play
school at home.
Sight
Words- I will send home a list of sight words we have studied this
year, along with the rest of the (Dolch) sight words your child will be
studying next year.
Mini
Books- If you child has any mini books at home, please send it to
school with them this week. I am collecting them, and organizing them for the
end of the year. Thank you!
Water
bottles- If the weather is over 80 degrees, your child
may bring a water bottle to school. Please make sure it is a kind that closes easily
and securely.
