K & 1-
I have created a few word lists for the students to type which are alphabetized. I hope this will help with typing as well letter sequence.
2&3-
This month the 2ndand 3rdgraders will work on a health
project in which they insert a picture of a human body outline and then label the parts. We will use PowerPoint to complete this project. The students will learn how to insert text boxes and arrows and hopefully learn a little bit about health as well!
4&5-
4thand 5thgrade will start the month working on a
timeline project in which they graph events in Ohio History on one side and Reds history on the other. This will tie in well with their recent field trip! We will use Microsoft Word to complete our timelines. The directions are under the assignments tab.
6-8-
The junior high students will be using PowerPoint to create historical figure Facebook pages. Please check out the current assignments tab for an example. I think the students will have a lot of fun creating “Facebook” pages for historical
figures they have learned about this year.
