We are continuing our study of Chapter 3 in our textbook, Ancient Egypt and Nubia. This chapter's focus is the culture of Ancient Egypt, its rulers and gods, and the geography that made it possible. The chapter also looks at ancient Nubia and the relationship between Nubia and Egypt. The test on this chapter will be December 17. Be sure to reread pages 90-102, study the Key Terms from sections 4 and 5, the Section Reviews, and the Assessments. There will be two opportunities for extra credit. The first is the usual online practice test which can be taken, corrected on the computer, and printed out to turn in on or before the day of the test. The webcode is on page 105. The second will be on the test itself. There will be a section of matching on the gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt. To prepare for this, study the notes taken in class which should be in the student's folder. Our field trip to the Cincinnati Museum Center for the Egypt Omnimax film and exhibit was both interesting and educational. Thank you to all the chaperones who helped make the day a success.
