We have completed our Geography studies and have exchanged the Geography
textbook for the History textbook. Our History studies begin Monday with a
chapter on the Byzantine and Muslim Civilizations. This chapter looks at the
Byzantine Empire, which survived the fall of the Roman Empire, as well as the
beginnings of Islam and the golden age of Muslim civilization.
