My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong, and failing to do good, I have sinned against You, whom I should love above all things.

Reading- Finishing theme 2:Helping hands and beginning theme 3:Our World. Introduction of abbreviations, synonyms.
Phonics/Spelling- r-controlled vowels, beginning blends (thr, spr, str), /oo/ sound
Handwriting- finish review of manuscript letters seen in spelling lists during the weeks; see it, say it, write it.Introduction of cursive in late December/early January.
Math- Fractions (half, fourth, eighth), fractional parts of a whole, identifying tens/ones, bar graphs, simple coins, addition facts, study of 2 digit numbers with ordering and adding 10, introduction of adding 2 digit numbers.
Social Studies, Science, and Health will be rotated as units are completed (2-3 wks per unit)
Social Studies- Geography, landforms, natural resources, conservation; Native American unit in November
Science- study of insects
Health- senses
