I have been teaching at St. Jude for 9 years and this is my first year in
the 2nd grade. I have taught grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. I am really excited about
this year and am looking forward to working together with you
to make this a great year for your child. I have been a member of
this parish since I was 3 years old so, teaching in this school really means
a lot to me. My husband, Mike, and I have 5 children; Mike is 19, Mark is 18,
Jenny is 17, Emily is 15 1/2 and Sophie is 3 1/2 years old. I have a degree
in Elementary Education as well as Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders
and Reading. I taught at Oak Hills High School for 6 years and Oakdale
Elementary for 2 years before coming to St. Jude. Well, that's just a little
about me. Here's to a GREAT year!
My hope for this year is that the students will learn many new things. I
hope as they are learning these things they will see that even though
learning can be hard sometimes, it can also be a lot of fun.
