Gr. 8 Reading
Students are required to earn a total of 25 AR points a quarter. The novel
they are reading in class this quarter is the Outsiders. The
average of these AR tests will be averaged in with the rest of their reading
test scores at the end of the quarter. Please encourage your child to start
reading their AR books right now a little each night so they will have
completed their points well before the end of the quarter. This second
quarter all
AR tests must be completed no later than January 8, the Friday before the end
of the quarter. Parents, please check on your child's # of AR points, and
encourage them to read over Christmas break. We will be returning on

January 8.

best prepare for the following chapter test.
Students should be working on writing a Christmas story based on pgs. 66 & 66
