Students wil be assembling a PowerPoint show to be displayed at Open House in January. The title will be "Interesting Places to Visit in Ohio." Students will be asked to research places of interest in Ohio. They will make a list of three places they would like to investigate further. The list will include the name of the site and where it is located. Then students will narrow their choice to one. This will be the site they will investigate further for the Slide Show. Each student will choose a different site. Each student will research their choice for the following information: * Name * Location (Exact location and proximity to nearest large city) * When founded/built/started * Why it is important/interesting/worth visiting * 5 interesting facts Students will animate their slides and then they will be combined into one presentation to be shown at Open House.
