REMINDERS...
*First graders are encouraged to bring in photos of loved ones who have died
and photos of anyone who has served our country (living or dead). The
photos will be returned unharmed!
*"Operation Thanks" continues until Wednesday. Thank you for your donations!
*Native American Report...Please take time to find a tribe to learn more
about. Students may use books and the Internet to complete his/her project.
Report due Monday, November 23rd.
*During the month of November the children will try to earn feathers by
completing six different activities during their free time. To earn the
different colored feathers they must recite the Our Father and Hail Mary,
recite their address and phone number (including area code and zip code),
recite the days of the week and months of the year, print numbers 1-100
neatly and in correct order, get 105% on a spelling test and write 10
sentences using the words from the November Word Bank. Some of the feathers
require a teacher listening to them so the teacher will determine when they
can recite it to them.
