Pencils, highlighter, red pen.

 

 

II.  Grading & Homework    (total point system)

 

Homework

All math homework must be completed prior to math class.  This is imperative due to the nature of the class.  Points will be given for completed homework.  Incomplete, missing, or late homework will not get credit except in cases of excused absences.

 

Some homework may be turned in for a grade.  This would only occur if the homework was not based on something new learned that day.

 

You can expect a half an hour of homework in math each night.

 

Tests/Quizzes

 

Tests will always be announced in advance, but sometimes quizzes will be “pop” quizzes.  Quiz points will range from 10-50.  Tests will be worth 100 points.

 

Simple Solutions

 

Each Friday, we will have a Simple Solutions quiz.  The quizzes will usually be 15 points.

 

III.  Extra Help

 

I will offer extra help sessions at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday mornings.  Please come prepared.  I am generally available for pre-test help as well either before or after school by appointment.  Just remember that I am here to help you.  Just ask!
