ST. MATTHIAS SCRIP ORDER INFORMATION
FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
As many of you know we’ve had a scrip program here at St. Matthias for the past six years. In an effort to make this year easier, you will now be able to go on-line to order your scrip order. By going to www.shopwithscrip.com you will be able to place your orders and submit payment all on-line. Eliminating the paper order forms we’ve used in the past. All you need to do is enroll at www.shpwithscrip.com. Our non-profit enrollment code is C9E5FA66114L8. You will need to enter this code when registering your family. Once you’ve enrolled you will be able to place your order and the coordinator will automatically be able to pull your information into our account for processing.
What is Scrip?
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you are purchasing gift certificates/gift cards that are used like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials-with every purchase; a portion earns money for your child’s tuition. The purchases would be made at local retailers that you may already shop at. Please remember
Scrip is cash-if you lose it, it is gone. There is no way to track the cards. Discount percentages vary by retailer-restaurants tend to have higher discount amounts and larger chain stores tend to have lower. This year the discount percentage will remain the same 85% going towards tuition reduction for your child and 15% staying in the St.Matthias scrip account to cover shipping/handling. The following is a listing of the dates when orders are due and when they should be sent back to you. In the event of a holiday falling on a delivery date, orders will go home or picked up the next day that school is in session.
